A reusable ring that holds a conventional condom in place, so it can’t slip.
Condoms can slip, even when used correctly. Published studies report slippage in anything from under 1% to about 8% of uses, depending on who was asked and how. The usual answers (better instructions, sizing, lubricant) all rely on behaviour, and none of them physically holds the condom in place.
VengoSicuro is a mechanical answer. A flexible, transparent ring sits at the base, held at the waist by an adjustable strap. Inside the ring runs an integrated spiral that catches the rolled edge of the condom and keeps it there. The condom itself is not modified: it stays a normal single-use product, and the ring is the part you keep.
I filed it as a German utility model in July 2025. In 2026 I turned the patent drawings into design renders and a presentation for condom manufacturers, covering the problem, the evidence, how it differs from existing approaches, a validation plan and the collaboration I’m after.
It is honest to say what it is not yet. Nothing here has been tested on a prototype, and efficacy and safety are not demonstrated. The images are design concepts, not photographs of a manufactured or certified product. The next step is a partner who can build prototypes and run the tests.
